TAWAU : Aumas Berhad Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chong Tzu Khen, was called by the police to give a statement and was identified as having operated illegally since November 2024 until April this year.
He has been present at the Tawau Police Station since yesterday until today, being taken by the Sabah Commercial Crime Investigation Department including several employees of Wullersdorf Resources Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Aumas Berhad.
An inside source informed that Wullersdorf Resources Sdn Bhd told Sabah anews Today that the company listed on Bursa Malaysia used explosives without the approval of the Police.
“In addition, he did not make an announcement on Bursa that the company did not have a mining license during that period.
“There were gold buying and selling transactions carried out even though the Legal Advisor of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Natural Resources had issued an order not to allow any mineral buying and selling transactions without a valid Mining Operation Scheme Approval Letter from the Malaysian Department of Minerals and Geosciences,” he said here today.
According to him, as a reference, Mining Licenses and Mineral Trading Licenses are only issued by the Department of Minerals and Geosciences Malaysia through the Mineral Development Act 1994.
“A total of 110 kilograms of gold were seized at Tawau Airport in early 2024 in an attempt by Chong Tzu Khen to smuggle the gold bars despite not having a valid license at that time.
“Most recently, Chong Tzu Khen has once again deceived and deceived investors by not declaring on the Stock Exchange that the Wullersdorf Resources dam wall had collapsed and caused panic in the surrounding villages,” he explained.
He said that this incident is most likely caused by the contaminated toxic water flowing into a nearby river.
Apart from Chong Tzu Khen, statements were also taken from the Chief Operating Officer and Former Chief Financial Officer of Wullersdorf Resources Sdn Bhd.
In addition, one of the Aumas Berhad investors who only wanted to be known as ‘Yap’ felt strange because, although the Minerals Department ordered the cessation of operations of the Wullersdorf Resources factory, until now Chong Tzu Khen has not made any announcement on the Bursa.
