Analysis of ‘Dr. Lee Kuok Tiung UMS’ only acts as a spokesperson for GRS – Jeffrey Nor

KOTA KINABALU: Dr. Lee Kuok Tiung, a Political Analyst from Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), has been urged to refrain from making statements that are perceived as biased and unbalanced, thus appearing to function as a political propaganda disseminator online for Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS).

According to Sabah UMNO Election director, Jeffrey Nor Mohamed, Dr. Lee Kuok Tiung’s remarks are inclined towards being a ‘GRS Cybertropper’ and lack an understanding of the cultural and historical context of politics in Sabah.

“Despite holding a Doctorate (PhD), Dr. Lee is criticized for his inability to comprehend the core of politics in Sabah, as stated by Jeffrey Nor in a statement here today.

Acknowledging that Dr. Lee Kuok Tiung is not a native of Sabah, Jeffrey Nor emphasized that this lack of familiarity with the cultural and political heritage of Sabah reflects in his biased and one-sided analyses favoring GRS, which do not align with the principles of the University he is associated with.

In a recent statement, Jeffrey Nor highlighted that Dr. Lee’s analyses heavily rely on the past statements of UMNO Sabah Information Chief, Datuk Suhaimi Nasir, without considering the strategic political landscape and decisions of UMNO Sabah regarding potential collaborations with Parti Warisan.

Jeffrey Nor emphasized the importance of strategic political maneuvers for UMNO Sabah, emphasizing the need to avoid past betrayals and learn from previous experiences.
